Urban Decay Naked 1 & 2 palette review

The urban decay naked palettes seem to be "the thing to get" nowadays. They both have 12 natural/neutral shades of browns, taupes, blacks, silvers, golds, etc. With these palettes there are endless ways to create a daytime look or a sensual dramatic look or anything you want. The consistency is very "creamy" (keep in mind there are no cream shadows...A bit confusing) they are highly pigmented also. There is a variety of different textures (matte, shimmer, satin, glitter chunky, etc.) so basically you have to like glitter to like 75% of these palettes. Many people ask which one they should get first. I recommend getting the original naked palette first for warmer skin tones because it has warmer browns and other colors. However, naked 2 is more cool so lighter/cooler skin tones would work better with this palette. Personally, if you are just starting out with makeup I don't think you need both palettes. You can do A LOT of things with just one of them and they are full sized shadows too so you really are getting a great deal! Over all, both palettes are extremely nice (quite a bit pricey though!) and I think you should buy these palettes if you are looking for a more natural (yet buildable) eye look. If you want to stand out, try something else!

  1. Hi Anna, thank you for this wonderful review you made about UD Naked Palette 1 AND 2. Now, I am sure which palette I should get first. Btw, can I use one of your pictures for my blog? The 4th picture. I am going to credit you, post your blog link below the picture on my blog to be exact. If it's okay. Please! :)

  2. You're an idiot. These palettes are not pricey at all. You get twelve FULL SIZED shadows for a measley %50. Quit being so cheap.
