Urban Decay Naked 1 & 2 palette review

The urban decay naked palettes seem to be "the thing to get" nowadays. They both have 12 natural/neutral shades of browns, taupes, blacks, silvers, golds, etc. With these palettes there are endless ways to create a daytime look or a sensual dramatic look or anything you want. The consistency is very "creamy" (keep in mind there are no cream shadows...A bit confusing) they are highly pigmented also. There is a variety of different textures (matte, shimmer, satin, glitter chunky, etc.) so basically you have to like glitter to like 75% of these palettes. Many people ask which one they should get first. I recommend getting the original naked palette first for warmer skin tones because it has warmer browns and other colors. However, naked 2 is more cool so lighter/cooler skin tones would work better with this palette. Personally, if you are just starting out with makeup I don't think you need both palettes. You can do A LOT of things with just one of them and they are full sized shadows too so you really are getting a great deal! Over all, both palettes are extremely nice (quite a bit pricey though!) and I think you should buy these palettes if you are looking for a more natural (yet buildable) eye look. If you want to stand out, try something else!

Christmas Gifts

Every Christmas I always get the totally wrong thing. Like if I ask for a camera I get some stupid barbie princess piece of plastic that flashes pink and glitter. Seriously. But this year, I was surprised. Sorta... I got everything I asked for, well except the Mac but I did get a HD camera! So I was like " Yay! I got everything! Thanks!" But then like I saw that over 3/4 of the presents under the tree were for my brothers. So... That sucked. Literally, they got it all. So I blamed it on myself because I didn't ask for that much this year! So it turned out that it was my stinking fault! It still was a good Christmas... But remember, don't ask for too much, or in my case, too little!
